Objective
|
To
achieve long term capital appreciation by investing predominantly in the
listed equities of Asian companies engaged in information technology, including
software development, media and content, internet and e-commerce,
communications, equipment and components, computers, electronic devices
and peripherals.
The Fund may also selectively invest in companies that are involved in
convergence technologies, such as telemedicine, as well as other unique
Asian technology opportunities.
The Fund may also invest a portion of its assets in non-listed pre-IPO
companies in these sectors provided that there is a reasonable
expectation that they will become listed within 12 months. The Fund may
invest up to 20% of its NAV, calculated at time of investment, in private
companies. Private holdings will be valued at cost until listed.
